Case Study (SalesForce Integration with Dynamics Business Central):
SAN Dynamics Technova P L has recently integrated Microsoft Dynamics Business Central with SalesForce for a client based out of U.S.A where data from Salesforce briefcase can be written onto Business Central and vice versa. The client wants to utilize the potential of Business Central and data storage and handling capabilities for their leads and customers from SalesForce.
This 2-way integration between Salesforce and Dynamics Business Central also handles the errors occurring during the operation and error notifications are automatically sent on the email IDs of the stakeholders. The integration is based on the token which facilitates handshaking between the 2 systems i.e. Salesforce and Dynamics Business Central. The token generation is achieved using a standard API which refreshes the token every 15 minutes.
Error handling is done using the job queue which raises an alert and send the notification upon any failure encountered. A log is maintained for all the successful and erroneous entries with timestamp assigned to them.
